Which measuring device should you choose? A multimeter is suitable for basic measurements of voltage, current and resistance. With an oscilloscope you can see the waveform and its changes as a function of time, while a logic analyzer is particularly suitable for examining digital buses and signals. A spectrum analyzer is used to analyze the frequency content of signals.
