Langer E1 is an EMC development kit for investigating EMI disturbances on circuit boards and for developing immunity to disturbances. The kit can quickly locate the causes of burst and ESD disturbances and evaluate the effects of measures taken to eliminate the disturbances.

The E1 is suitable for use in development-phase measurements. The compact test setup can be placed on a workbench, and the SGZ 21 generator included in the kit enables the generation of burst and ESD disturbances. The S21 optical sensor allows electrically isolated measurements up to a transmission speed of 10 Mbps.

The E1 series user manual contains information on EMC disturbance mechanisms as well as detailed descriptions of basic measurement methods suitable for investigating circuit board immunity and locating disturbance sources.
