Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32-C6 is a modern and very compact development board based on the Espressif ESP32-C6 system-on-chip. It supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), Bluetooth 5 LE and IEEE 802.15.4 connectivity, enabling Zigbee-, Thread- and Matter-compatible smart home solutions.
High-quality RF design and an on-board integrated antenna provide up to 80 meters of wireless range. The board also features a connector for an external U.FL antenna for more demanding use cases.
The platform has two 32-bit RISC-V processors: a high-performance core up to 160 MHz and a low-power core at 20 MHz. Memory includes 512 KB SRAM and 4 MB Flash, which is sufficient for versatile IoT and embedded applications.
XIAO ESP32-C6 supports lithium battery charging management and offers four power modes. In deep sleep mode, power consumption is only 15 μA, making it an excellent choice for battery-powered and long-lived devices.
The classic XIAO form factor, 21 x 17.8 mm size and single-sided SMD construction make the board ideal for space-constrained projects such as wearables and smart home components.
ESP32-C6 provides hardware-based security features like Secure Boot, encryption and a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE). It integrates seamlessly with cloud services such as AWS IoT, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud.
