This battery unit forms a complete UPS solution together with StromPi V3.

It is available as a third power source and can be monitored and charged automatically.

It is based on LiFePO4 technology and offers several key advantages compared to conventional lithium-ion batteries:

• Better safety, as chemical self-ignition is not possible
• Much longer service life than lithium-ion technologies
• Wider temperature range
• More charge cycles
• The battery charges automatically during use when connected to an external power source

Protection circuits for overload, short circuit and deep discharge are integrated into the battery electronics.

Battery capacity: 3,2V 1000mAh, lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4).

Bridge time during a power outage together with a Raspberry Pi: approx. 20 min.
