A fast and powerful mini computer built into a quality keyboard. The Raspberry Pi 500 includes the same quad-core 64-bit Arm processor and RP1 I/O controller found in the Raspberry Pi 5.

The Raspberry Pi 500 uses Broadcom’s BCM2712 chip, which has four 2.4 GHz Arm Cortex-A76 processor cores and an 800 MHz VideoCore VII GPU capable of OpenGL ES 3.1 and Vulkan 1.2 graphics. It should provide a significant improvement in graphical performance.

In addition, the device can drive two 4K-class displays at 60 Hz simultaneously with HDR via the HDMI ports.

The Raspberry Pi 500 includes a completely new component developed by the Raspberry Pi Foundation called the RP1 southbridge, which is part of the chipset. Its job is to communicate with peripherals. The new component enables faster data transfer between peripherals and the Raspberry Pi.
