Installation instructions
Always use a fuse between the Kemo M171 and the battery; do not connect directly to the battery terminals. Recommended fuse 10A.
If the product heats up during use, provide adequate cooling. Heat is conducted away through the aluminum surface on the rear of the device. Mount it against a heatsink or other metal surface. Use thermal paste to maximize heat transfer. Be careful when fastening so the device does not become warped in any way. Use four M3 metal screws. Do not drill larger mounting holes or make other modifications. Ensure that cooling is sufficient.
