This LED LUX meter, featuring a 3 3/4-digit LCD display (max. 3999), is an accurate measuring instrument suitable for measuring the illuminance of LED lights, fluorescent tubes or traditional incandescent lamps at different light colors. Measurements are taken in lux (lx), foot-candles (fc) or candelas (cd).

Simple lux meters are usually designed to measure only standard light, such as incandescent lamps with a color temperature of 2856 K. This can lead to inaccurate results at different color temperatures.

The PeakTech 5086 model allows setting different light source correction factors, e.g. for various neon lamps, incandescent lamps and red, blue, yellow or daylight LED lights. The device has 10 freely adjustable correction factors for different light sources, 99 memory slots for measurement results and other useful measurement functions such as minimum and maximum functions and data hold.

Thanks to this, the device is well suited for professional use, for example in occupational safety or evaluation of lighting systems.
