The PeakTech 1075 is a compact portable multimeter featuring a 3 1/2-digit LCD display that is easy to read thanks to large segments and an integrated backlight. In addition to wide measuring functions for DC and AC voltage, DC current and resistance, this model offers a fast-reacting continuity test with an audible signal and a diode test. A non-contact voltage tester (NCV) is also integrated on the front, allowing quick checks that a conductor is de-energized. The range is selected manually, which enables the meter to display the measured value particularly quickly. The integrated battery test function allows more accurate testing of 1.5 V and 9 V batteries than a simple voltage test, because the small load resistance causes the test voltage to drop when batteries are depleted.
