Used for etching the copper surface of circuit boards.

The copper traces left on the board can be marked by using a drawing pen or by exposing a circuit board coated with UV-sensitive lacquer (developer also required). Etching takes a few tens of minutes.

• add the granules to boiling-hot water according to the dosing instructions
  • sufficiency approximately 200-250 g per 1 L
• the warmer the solution, the faster the process
• the same solution can be used multiple times
• the solution is transparent, making it easy to monitor the etching process
• the solution is essentially single-use and ready-made solution should not be stored for long periods
• etching strength can be increased with hydrochloric acid, available e.g. from pharmacies (use only in a well-ventilated area)
• dispose of used solution at an appropriate waste collection point
