DFRobot infrared-based human detection switch is a solution for automatic load control based on motion. The sensor detects human body movement using infrared technology and automatically controls the connected load.

The sensor detection range is approximately five to eight metres with a 60-degree detection angle, allowing for comprehensive coverage. The device has an adjustable delay time, which is set by the adjustment knob on the rear of the controller. When motion is detected, the load switches on and turns off automatically after the set delay time once motion ceases.

The switch operates on DC 5–24 V, and the input and output voltages are the same. It is suitable for various applications such as corridor lighting, bookshelves, LED strip control, and industrial automation.
