Elecrow NVPI5-2280B is an NVMe PCIe SSD expansion base designed for Raspberry Pi 5 that allows M.2 NVMe SSD drives in 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 form factors to be connected directly to a PCIe Gen 3 x1 bus. It supports booting the system from an NVMe drive and delivers significantly better performance compared to traditional microSD cards. This makes it an excellent choice for demanding projects such as data storage, AI applications, or virtual servers.

The expansion base is compatible with other Raspberry Pi HAT add-ons and supports installation of official active coolers. It also includes an external +5V power connector that improves power stability, especially when using higher-performance SSDs. Two LED indicators (power and activity) provide a clear view of the device status.
