APPLICATIONS

All bonding and sealing applications in the marine industry where extremely high demands are placed on adhesion and flexibility. Also suitable for submerged areas.
Typical applications include, for example:

• bonding of rub rails
• bonding and sealing of deck fittings
• bonding of deck coatings
• bonding of mouldings
• bonding and sealing of deck-to-hull joints
• bonding of hatches, windows and bollards

• Solvent- and isocyanate-free
• Excellent UV resistance and ageing properties
• Long-term resistance to fresh and sea water
• Good adhesion to most materials without primers
• Flexible over a wide temperature range ( -40°C - +100°C )
• odorless, fast curing and non-reactive
• Can be overpainted with most industrial paints and coating systems, both alkyd-resin and dispersion-based. (it is recommended to test compatibility or contact Bostik product support)
• Sands when cured
• Approved by Bureau Veritas in accordance with the EU Marine Equipment Directive: Imo Resolution A.653

• 290 ml cartridge = 0.4 m²
• Coverage varies depending on the roughness of the installation surface.
