Arduino UNO Media Carrier expansion board extends the multimedia capabilities of compatible Arduino host boards by providing connectors for cameras, displays and audio devices. The board is suitable for machine vision, display and audio projects as well as edge computing applications.
The board connects to a compatible Arduino board via the JMEDIA and JMISC high-speed connectors. Thanks to the pass-through design, all connectors remain available for use with other modules or expansion boards.
Two 22-pin MIPI-CSI connectors enable the use of Raspberry Pi–compatible cameras for applications such as stereo imaging, object detection and multi-angle image capture. The 22-pin MIPI-DSI connector supports Raspberry Pi displays for building interactive user interfaces.
Audio connectors include a combined microphone input and headphones output, as well as separate line out and earphone outputs. These allow for audio recording, monitoring and driving external amplifiers or active speakers.
The board is suitable for AI-powered kiosks, object tracking, interactive exhibits and other embedded applications that utilize multimedia.
