The original Arduino® Opta RS485 (AFX00001) is a programmable 4-channel logic relay that can be controlled via Ethernet or an RS485 bus. Programming is done using the Arduino C++ language or its own PLC graphical programming tool compliant with the IEC 61131-3 standards. A PLC IDE license is included with the device. Opta meets the X.509 standard requirements and is equipped with a dedicated cryptographic chip. It is therefore well suited for industrial IoT applications that require a high level of security.
