MKR ZERO offers you the power of the Zero in a smaller, well-established MKR form factor. The MKR ZERO board is an excellent learning tool for getting started with 32-bit application development. It features a built-in SD connector with its own SPI lines (SPI1), allowing you to play music files without extra hardware! The board is powered by Atmel's SAMD21 MCU, which has a 32-bit ARM Cortex® M0+ core.
Warning: Unlike most Arduino and Genuino boards, the MKRZero operates at 3.3 volts. The maximum voltage that the I/O pins can tolerate is 3.3 V. Applying voltages higher than 3.3 V to any I/O pin may damage the board.
The board includes everything needed to support the microcontroller; simply connect it to your computer with a micro-USB cable or power it with a LiPo battery. The battery voltage can also be monitored because there is a connection between the battery and the board's analog converter.
