Adafruit TMP117 is a high-accuracy I2C temperature sensor designed for demanding measurement applications. The sensor typically offers ±0.1 °C accuracy in the range -20 °C … +50 °C and operates over a wide -55 °C … +150 °C measurement range. The resolution is an impressive 0.0078 °C, making the sensor an excellent choice for, for example, scientific measurements, data logging and environmental monitoring.

The sensor communicates over the I2C bus and can be configured with multiple I2C addresses, allowing multiple devices on the same bus. The TMP117 also includes internal memory for storing calibration and configuration data.

The breakout board includes an integrated regulator and level shifter, so the sensor works with both 1.8 V and 5.5 V logic. The board features STEMMA QT connectors (compatible with the SparkFun Qwiic system), allowing the sensor to be connected without soldering. QT cable is not included.
