The Adafruit NeoSlider slide potentiometer combines a mechanical controller and striking lighting into one compact package. In the center is a linear potentiometer whose readings are converted to a microcontroller via I2C. Under the potentiometer are four NeoPixel RGB LEDs that can display any color, making the device suitable for both control and visual feedback.

Connection is easy using STEMMA QT or SparkFun Qwiic cables with no soldering required. The default I2C address is 0x30, but jumpers on the back allow the address to be changed up to 0x3F. This lets you connect up to 16 sliders on the same I2C bus. The device supports both 3V and 5V systems and includes a seesaw controller chip and all necessary support electronics.

Operation is straightforward with Adafruit-provided libraries. An Arduino library is available as well as CircuitPython and Python code to control both the slider and the NeoPixels. The module is shipped fully assembled and tested, ready to install in your projects.
