Adafruit MCP9808 is a precision digital temperature sensor that measures temperatures from -40…+125 °C with a typical accuracy of ±0.25 °C. The resolution is 0.0625 °C, making it an excellent choice for applications that require precise temperature monitoring. The sensor communicates over the I2C bus and supports up to eight addresses via address pins.

The breakout board is implemented in the STEMMA QT format, allowing easy connection without soldering. The connectors are compatible with the SparkFun Qwiic system, so the sensor can be chained with other I2C devices. Necessary resistors and capacitors are integrated on the board, so setup is straightforward.
