Adafruit 3492 PDM MEMS Microphone Breakout
The Adafruit 3492 is a compact MEMS microphone module based on PDM technology (Pulse Density Modulation), suitable for sound recording, speech recognition, IoT devices, and microcontroller-based projects. Unlike traditional analog microphones, the module produces a digital PDM signal, enabling interference-free data transmission and easy connection to modern microcontrollers.
The module uses the high-quality STMicroelectronics MP34DT01-M MEMS microphone, whose low power consumption and good signal-to-noise ratio make it an excellent choice for sound measurement and analysis. It is especially suitable for platforms with built-in PDM support, such as many ARM Cortex-M based microcontrollers.
